Van Pham

Van Pham is a multidisciplinary artist who was born in the most populous city in Vietnam and immigrated to Canada in 2015. These new beginnings brought her the wonderful opportunity to be closer to nature in rural New Brunswick, which would become the main theme in her body of work. The tranquil forests and the peaceful trails nearby also help Van Pham to connect with her own inner world while contemplating the relationship between human and nature, in which these perspectives are often reflected in her work.

Though the majority of Van Pham’s works are watercolour and acrylic painting, she is constantly challenging herself with different mediums ranging from sculpting to paper cutting. Her work is often intricate to feature the complicated web of life and the beauty of the natural world around her.
